Mystery of The Cat
Inspired by Haruki Murakami's "Kafka on the Shore," which blends elements of magical realism, this image is part of a series created for a still life project. In the novel, cats hold a mysterious and symbolic role, embodying the surreal essence of the story. Capturing this series was a journey into that surreal world.
The forest setting became an open-air studio where I experimented with floating objects and shifting perspectives, mirroring the novel's dreamlike quality. The process was immersive and playful, aiming to reflect the magical realism and enigmatic presence of the cat.
